christmas cards??

for some reason I woke up at 3am this morning with an idea for a christmas card -- what the heck??? Here is a hint to what I want to do... hopefully M will agree to do this with me :)

TUFF

my sister just sent out a note that a mini film she made recently was accepted into the TUFF film festival! TUFF -- or Toronto Urban Film Festival -- is placing a bunch of short films on TTC (Toronto Transit) monitors at various subway stops -- very cool idea! Her film is called Mistints and is being played on Sunday, September 9th so if you're riding the rocket that day be sure to look up!

italian wedding photo fun

my soon to be sister-in-law just informed me that my photographer has blogged about my wedding! We're getting married in italy in may and we're super excited to have her join us on the trip to shoot the wedding. Check her out!

Ok so this wasn't the bag I was going to do originally but this was just as fun. I adapted it from the Bend the Rules clutch and a Denyse Schmidt quilted zig zag bag in one of her latest books. Very fun project!
