To complement this week's ice cream post, I bring to you some two-ingredient ice cream (and no it doesn't include bananas!). I will definitely be trying this ice cream this summer as soon as the weather gets with the program and remembers that it's supposed to be providing us with warm weather (it's freezing here in Toronto today). Until then, here are the links I clicked this week. And if you're in Canada have a great long weekend!

It's my anniversary today! Yes one week exactly after my birthday and the same weekend as Mother's Day (are we ever good at planning ;)). So I thought I would share a photo from our wedding to commemorate. We've been married seven years this year and it has been an awesome ride (in a red Bianchini ;)). I'm truly blessed to have this amazing man in my life. Tonight we are celebrating as all married couples should: at Leo's movie night at school ha! I think watching The Lego Movie will bring back all sorts of memories from our wedding day....

Well my friends it's Easter Weekend; a holiday that always catches up to me. At around 1:30 yesterday afternoon I realized that I still hadn't bought any eggs of any kind, but as luck would have it Mila woke up early from her nap so we high-tailed it over to Sweet Olenka's for some bunnies and white chocolate-covered blueberries (super delish by the way) so I think we're set now. And now, as you nosh on your own chocolate egg stash, here are the links I clicked on this week for your reading pleasure.

This week has been a whirl wind. Mark and I went back home to a funeral on Tuesday for a super special man. He really touched a lot of lives and you know he was great, but you don't really know how great until you start talking to people and hearing the stories that people have to tell about him. Anyway it really made me think about how precious our lives are. It goes by so quickly.

So as a result of that and other things, I wasn't on the computer much but I did manage to sneak a few minutes during a couple nap times. Here's what I clicked on this week:

How to French press coffee.

I won a gift certificate to Etsy (yay!) so I bought this bag. Can't wait to get it!

I read a few of Janet's organization posts this week and I've already started tearing through the house getting rid of things I don't want.

That's it! Have a great weekend folks! I'm off for a super yummy italian meal at my new favourite place.

It's March Break in these parts and I've been home with two lovies that have been keeping me busy. More than once this week I've started a few different things only to finish them later because the kidlets needed something or other. The funny thing is that it's still a break for me of sorts: I don't have to rush out the door in the morning to bring Leo to school and rush out to get him after school with sleepy Mila in tow. It's been a pretty great week. I haven't done much on the computer but I have had a chance to sneak a few minutes here and there. Here's what I clicked on this week:

This weekend is my sister Kaite and I are throwing a baby shower for our sister Stacey and I got this sweet You Are My Sunshine print to put in a frame somewhere at the party. She calls her baby Sunshine so it's perfect.

If you live right downtown Toronto or went to school there, you may know a place called The Salad King. Mark and I went there on Sunday for lunch just like the good old days in school.

The Cookery cooking classes. I went on a girl date with my friend Jen and we checked out The Cookery on Roncesvalles in Toronto. We're going to take a class!

I loved this interview with Grace Bonney and Marie Forleo. Super inspiring.

I've been researching 30-day fitness challenges and this looks good!

Do you feel it? The temperatures getting warmer? Ok maybe not yet, but next week is supposed to be above 0 all week! Yay! Anyway, this week has been one for getting back into the swing of things after being in Florida for nine days. It's slow going folks. I feel lazy! Here are a few links I click while attempting to get back at it.

Have you seen this video? New Macdonald. Love it.

I love Britt's side tables - she made them!

In Defense of French Immersion. Leo starts FI next year and I'm a bit apprehensive even though I'm half French Canadian. I just hope it doesn't hinder his English grammar down the road.

OpenText (my former workplace!) created this fantastic video to commemorate International Women's Day. Bravo.

Have a great weekend folks and pray for warmth!

Next weekend is Valentine's Day and instead of going to Target (wahhh!) I decided to look on Etsy for Valentine's cards for Leo's class. I did a search for printable kid's valentine's and there are so many great options! I went through them to chose four that I thought Leo would like and then let him choose the one he wanted. He chose these cute dinos from AvEHdesigns. It's so simple to print them, especially if you already have card stock on hand and they look great printed from an ink jet.

Here are some other links I clicked on this week:

Crispy Cauliflower-Carrot Fritters with Smoky Garlic Aioli I made these for dinner this week and they were delish!

Well it's been a cold week in more ways than one and I'm dreaming of when I'll be sitting on the beach in Florida in several weeks. It can't come fast enough for me. I'm totally not a winter person and if you see me walking on the street you may not know it's me by the amount of clothes I wear.

To stay warm, I did some extra clicking this week.... here are some of the things I warmed up to:

My French Beauty Uniform from Cup of Jo. I really enjoyed reading this and learning that how the French do beauty.

I loved this post from Jennifer Flores about being mindful

I bought this ampersand poster and had it printed this week. I can't wait to get it up!
