I'm watching romancing the stone tonight -- don't you just LOVE this movie???

C is off to London and then Paris this week with her family and needed a bag to bring all the essentials with her. I made this bag...I'll call her Paris... out of the same grey fabric I made my first Frenchy. It's lined with Amy Butler's grey Lacework fabric.



I brought it out to the movies for a test drive the other night (has any one seen Tropic Thunder?? I think I have a little crush on Ben Stiller now...) and it held up quite well... even with my water, wallet, snacks, camera & lip balm, so I think it'll be perf for the big trip!

edith piaf

last night a friend and I went to see a movie about edith piaf - La Vie en Rose. I'll be honest, I didn't know a whole lot about her before seeing the movie -- I just knew that I loved the infamous song. It turned out to be one of the most depressing films I've seen in a long time -- her life was so sad. Marion Cotillard (also in The Good Year, opposite Russell Crowe) presented an amazing performance of Edith Piaf. If you get a chance, see the film -- it's a must see.
