I saw this pic on Thrifty Decor Chick today and I have to say I'm lovin' the red. I've had a weird love for red my whole life (I think I get it from my Mom for some reason) and this door is just speaking to me.
As soon as I saw it I wondered if a) it would work in my kitchen, b) I'd have enough guts to do it and c) if Mark would think I was insane for wanting to do this.
What do you think? Think it would work or am I a bit nuts?
It would DEFINITELY work in your kitchen. Look - you already have a read clock! Just go for it. Promise your husband that if you both hate it, you'll take care of the re-do.
ReplyDeleteBut you should go for it! Painting my kitchen door made a huge difference in my house. We went navy but you'll be surprised how great a coloured door can look.
Love the concept but you have a few more opennings than the example. It may become busy with the pantry adjacent to it. I would stick with the red accents but they can be big and bold. If you want to paint an interior door go for your front door. That dynamic would work better.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I know -- I was wondering if it would compete with the pantry door! Hmm!
