sunroom revamp: the little birdie bench pillow

Here's my little birdie bench pillow. I finally got around to making it which makes me laugh because things that used to take 1/2 an hour to make, now take me 5 days with children. Go figure.

I'd like to put another pillow with it... maybe a small rectangular one. We'll see - for now this bench is done!

loving new stuff from madewell

I was on Madewell's site this past weekend pretending to shop and fell in love with a few things...

silk day dress: if I weren't nursing Mila, this would be in my wardrobe!

the duet mini wedge in speckled calf hair: love this colour combo and a mini-wedge is just up my alley

silk-front tee in gingham bow: Really love this shape and pattern but not sure how it would look on my short body!

hearts bandana: I like how this is classic but with a cute little heart detail twist

soft mix top: I adore the variations in the fabric on this top.

utility biker jacket: I actually love this whole outfit but I don't think the dress is available anymore!

saturday adventure: walk by the water

Saturday we decided to go for a little walk by the water and we ventured off to a new part of the lakeshore trail in Port Credit we've never been before. We parked on a dead-end street and walked right into the woods (how great would it be to live right beside the woods, but still in the city?!)

Right in the middle of our walk were a few houses with what seemed like no road access. Very private!
